The Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS) is proud to offer this educational program aimed at increasing collaboration between the risk manager and defense counsel prior to a claim and or potential litigation. This mock trial workshop will provide risk managers with the opportunity to observe segments of mock trial presentations and a summarized version of a case to a jury. Following the mock jury presentations from mock plaintiff and defense council there will be a panel discussion into how jurors actually think, decide, and deliberate in medical malpractice cases. From jury selection strategy and emerging jury trends to post-trial juror interviews and the legal boundaries governing these interactions, attendees will gain actionable insight into how verdicts truly form and how to better prepare their cases accordingly.

This program will offer CLE and CPHRM Renewal Credits.
